Necron Compound is an
acrylic, drybrush, metallic paint from the
Citadel
Dry
range.
- Acrylic - Acrylic paints are water-based and quick drying, typically drying within minutes after application.
This allows painters to apply multiple layers quickly.
They can be diluted with water and are easier to clean up than oil paints.
- Drybrush - Drybrush paints have an extra thick, paste-like consistency unlike normal fluid acrylics.
The thick formula allows them to be picked up with a dry brush and applied lightly over raised surfaces.
You can add a paint medium to thin them if you want to use them as regular paints.
- Metallic - Metallic paints contain real metallic pigments like copper, aluminum, bronze etc. for a realistic metallic finish.
The metal flakes reflect light just like real polished metal, unlike standard acrylics.
They generally dry with a satin/semi-gloss finish.
