Leadbelcher is an
acrylic, metallic, primer, spray paint from the
Citadel
Spray
range.
- Acrylic - Acrylic paints are water-based and quick drying, typically drying within minutes after application.
This allows painters to apply multiple layers quickly.
They can be diluted with water and are easier to clean up than oil paints.
- Metallic - Metallic paints contain real metallic pigments like copper, aluminum, bronze etc. for a realistic metallic finish.
The metal flakes reflect light just like real polished metal, unlike standard acrylics.
They generally dry with a satin/semi-gloss finish.
- Primer - A primer is a preparatory base coat that is applied to the bare miniature or model before painting begins. They can help create a smooth surface, improve paint adhesion, create an opaque base color for subsequent paints and some primers will also act as a barrier, protecting the miniature's surface from moisture or humidity, which can cause paint to behave unpredictably.
- Spray - Spray paints are generally used to prime miniatures and terrain using aerosol spray cans. Sprays can be used to quickly base coat plastic, resin, and metal miniatures and will help paints adhere better to the miniature surface.
