Chipping Medium is an acrylic, chipping, medium product from the Vallejo Auxiliary Products range.

• Acrylic - Acrylic paints are water-based and quick drying, typically drying within minutes after application. This allows painters to apply multiple layers quickly. They can be diluted with water and are easier to clean up than oil paints.
• Chipping - Chipping paints are a specialized product used to create realistic wear and tear effects usually (but not always) applied before the main color coat and works through a chemical reaction with subsequent paint layers.
• Medium - Mediums are mixed with paints to modify their consistency, transparency, and working properties. They can be added to paints to thin them down, increase their flow, or to create glazes and washes.
