Metal Medium (70.521)

Metal Medium is an acrylic, medium, metallic product from the Vallejo Auxiliary Products range.

• Acrylic - Acrylic paints are water-based and quick drying, typically drying within minutes after application. This allows painters to apply multiple layers quickly. They can be diluted with water and are easier to clean up than oil paints.
• Medium - Mediums are mixed with paints to modify their consistency, transparency, and working properties. They can be added to paints to thin them down, increase their flow, or to create glazes and washes.
• Metallic - Metallic paints contain real metallic pigments like copper, aluminum, bronze etc. for a realistic metallic finish. The metal flakes reflect light just like real polished metal, unlike standard acrylics. They generally dry with a satin/semi-gloss finish.
