Apply zenithal highlight from above...can use a spray can for ease or an airbrush if you have / prefer

Cover skin areas in a thin layer

Volupus pink is pretty strong so need to thin it when applying. Main focus is to get it in to the recesses
Highlights!

This is really the only step that you need to pay attention to where the paint goes.
Using quite a thinned mix, the aim is to bring back the highlights to the skin whilst leaving the pinked recesses.
Brush strokes should be ending towards the top where we want the layer to be more opaque - the upper facing areas where the light would be hitting

It's coming up to a year since I got back in to miniature painting after a 20+ year break and what a year it's been!
Got a bronze medal at my first painting contest and have another coming up before the end of my first year back!
It's been some journey!
